Genuine SU Dashpot Damper Assembly (Black Plastic, Non-Vented Cap) — Part Number: AUC 8102.

The dashpot damper slows the rise of the suction piston to provide a momentary rich mixture on sharp acceleration. A missing, wrong, or worn damper causes flat spots and hesitation. It is essential that the correct part is fitted — dampers vary by carburettor type. Non-vented (dustproof) cap. For Hexagonal Brass version order AUC 8102HB; Round Brass order AUC 8102RB.

Fits: HS2, HS4 carburettors. Mini, Morris Minor, MGB, MG Midget, Triumph Spitfire, and other HS2/HS4 applications.
